What makes Trilogy PCB designs better?
Experience
Each designer employed by Trilogy Circuits is a senior-level designer with more than 10 years of hands-on design experience. Also, each designer is IPC certified (CID / CID+), which means that they have personally invested the time and effort to advance their skills by studying and passing a comprehensive written test covering every aspect of the PCB design, fabrication and assembly processes.
Our designers possess a vast knowledge of different technologies, including:
- High-speed Digital
- Mixed Signal
- High Frequency RF (>5GHz.)
- Analog
- Power Supplies
- Flex and Rigid-flex Circuits
- Antenna Boards
Our designers also have experience using the latest in packaging technologies and design methodologies, including:
- Surface Mount or Through Hole
- BGA, µBGA and Chip Scale Packages
- Wire Bonding and Chip on Board
- Microvias
- Blind and Buried Vias
- Controlled Impedance
- Differential Pairs
- Matched Lengths
Our design group maintains multiple seats of the latest CAD software from Cadence, Mentor Graphics and DownStream Technologies. This guarantees that your data will be compatible with the most current and widely used design platforms available.
Craftsmanship
Each PCB designed by Trilogy Circuits is 100% hand-placed and hand-routed unless otherwise requested. These techniques do take more time and effort than using automated tools but generally result in reduced layer counts and more aesthetically pleasing boards. Our attention to detail ensures that our designs will provide higher yield rates, not only in bare board manufacturing, but final component assembly as well.
Standards
Using known standards is one way to guarantee successful results in manufacturing, assembly and testing. IPC standards were created by a cross-section of industry experts from each field in the electronics design and manufacturing industry. By using these IPC standards, we know that our designs comply with the most stringent manufacturing requirements.
